ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Creative Artworker. Working closely as part of our Creative Team you’ll be involved in the creation and supply of high-quality artwork ensuring that all artwork meets the business needs and brand guidelines. You'll be involved in projects from start to finish, providing support on how to best realise the creative concept through to efficient delivery of final assets. This role is suited to someone with creative panache and a fastidious nature, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, and will be based at our growing design-led North London based Studio.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating print-ready artwork - adapting existing designs to new layouts, formats and product cutter guides in a sensitive manner.
  • Formatting files ready for production.
  • Ensuring artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines.
  • Carrying out proof-checking prior to print sign-off.
  • Creating visual concepts, mood boards for photography and brand presentations.
  • Creating web assets to size and scale, colour correcting and retouching where required to meet brand standards.
  • Managing and maintaining an organised up-to-date archive of artwork files and colour benchmarks to supply to third parties as required.
  • Managing and keeping-up-to-date our in-house photography library
  • Liaising with external printers and factories, acting as the main point of contact for the artwork.
  • Proactively building and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and clients, working closely with creative and design teams to ensure the integrity of the original concepts
  • Keeping up to date with the latest design trends.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferable
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a design studio
  • Good creative judgement with a keen eye for good design, composition, layout and sensitivity to colour.
  • Demonstrable advanced CS skills – particularly in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with a superb eye for detail
  • Design knowledge and technical understanding
  • Good communication skills to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Project management skills - ability to prioritise and multi-task managing tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and think independently, using initiative
  • A team-player with strong interpersonal skills and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding and appreciation of the luxury and lifestyle sectors; gifting, homewares, fashion & accessories

ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Creative Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to our Creative Director you will support the product development process as the main point of communication with our licensees – working with our designers at every stage from conception and range planning to product approvals and final product photography at our growing design-led North London based Studio.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with all our licensees communicating in the most effective way to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Supporting the product development process liaising between our design team and our licensees to develop and approve new products.
  • Critiquing production samples for colour and product quality ensuring they match agreed specs.
  • Signing-off final product photography to ensure imagery used is a true and best reflection of products whilst maintaining consistency with brand standards.
  • Creating and maintaining up-to-date annual activity plans and product development trackers to ensure all stages are completed and deadlines are met.
  • Managing the in-house design team’s workload, prioritising requirements to deadline and business priority

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferable
  • Project management skills - ability to prioritise and multi-task managing tight deadlines
  • An understanding and appreciation of the luxury and lifestyle sectors; gifting, homewares, fashion & accessories
  • Good creative judgement with a keen eye for good design and sensitivity to colour.

ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive self-starter to join our team as an Operations Assistant. Reporting to our Head of Marketing and eCommerce you will support the development of new brand and retail opportunities and partnerships, as well as assisting with the running of our e-commerce business. In this role you will also be involved in the creation of brand editorial and in the general day to day administration of our growing design-led North London based Studio.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning, logistics, implementation and delivery of brand development activity
  • Administration of stock ordering and inventory management for saramiller.london, analysing data and keeping track of stock levels including stock invoice reconciliation as required weekly/monthly and keeping product prices up to date
  • Manage our Master Product list liaising with Licensees to ensure all product information is up-to-date at all times and reflected correctly across saramiller.london
  • Supporting the management of the Customer Services queries with an aim to create an engaged community of happy customers and increase customer loyalty by always prioritising and multitasking to meet our customers’ expectations
  • Dealing with customer email and telephone enquiries and take phone orders/create manual orders via our warehouse where required
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Continually look for ways we can improve our customer service, and identify any process or product issues
  • Assisting the Commercial Director on the maintenance of trademarks, copyright and licensing agreement
  • General Studio administration and facilities support including ordering supplies and liaising with utility companies and building maintenance contractors
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the Marketing and eCommerce Team
