Inside Sara Miller London’s sparkling jewellery and watch launch party

We love a good celebration here at Sara Miller London and what better excuse for a party than our brand new jewellery and watch collection?

Over 60 guests including the lovely @shedreamsofgucci (above with Sara) attended our launch on Wednesday 27th March at 12th Knot, the stunning rooftop bar in Sea Containers hotel, on London’s Southbank. The iconic venue quickly becomes a favourite for anyone who visits, but it has extra special meaning to me as it’s where I got married – three years ago to the day of our event! The views over London are just breath-taking and I’ll never tire of visiting, especially when it’s filled with people I love.

In keeping with our British roots, we enjoyed elderflower cocktails, teas, coffee, canapes and Sara Miller London-branded cupcakes, made by the fabulous Lola’s Cupcakes. Everything was served on our own Chelsea Collection, made in collaboration with Portmeirion, for a truly personal touch.

During our launch celebration guests were encouraged to visit our ‘trying on’ station, where they could take a closer look at the jewellery and grab a cute Instagram snap of them modelling the jewellery and watches, like @whatwegandidnext above. We also had an engraving post, run by the most amazing third generation hand-engraver, allowing attendees to personalise the back of a watch and take it home after the event.

Oh, and let’s not forget the very popular manicure stations, because who doesn’t want nails to match their shiny new watch?! I was thrilled to see so many of our guests like @alibaileylondon (below) enjoying some pampering and the response to our new collection was amazing. It was so lovely to hear people telling us about how much they love the jewellery and watches, and how amazed they are by our journey. It’s been a crazy three years!

I’ve always loved jewellery and with our design style being so delicate and feminine it felt like a natural progression for us to design a jewellery range. As with our prints, the different pieces have a sense of storytelling, and our love for pattern and colour is beautifully captured – especially in our watch collection. The delicate gold detail achieved within the dials is gorgeous and I am so proud of the unique and distinctive collection we have created.

Hello! I’m Sara Miller, Creative Director and founder of Sara Miller London. I have over 10 years of experience working as a designer in the greeting card industry and decided a few years ago to take the plunge and set up on my own. Needless to say, it’s been an absolute whirlwind of a journey. With nearly 1000 products since our launch in Jan 2016 and numerous award wins (most recently winning the prestigious Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand for the third time in five years! Even going head-to-head with Becks) I still have to pinch myself that all this has really happened. I count my lucky stars that I can do a job I am so passionate about and hope that I continue to inspire others with my designs, making everyday a reason to live a colourful life.
