I can hardly believe it, but we’re celebrating 10 wonderful years of Sara Miller London! What an extraordinary journey it has been, from our earliest beginnings to where we are today, filled with creativity, passion, and unforgettable milestones. Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or have only just discovered our world, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your support.

Here is little look back at our story so far …

2016:

• We launch with a range of 45 greeting cards.
• We’re over the moon to be nominated for SIX Henries Awards (like the Oscar’s for the card industry!)
• Delighted to win ‘Most Promising Young Designer 2016.’

2017:

• We sell one million cards in our first year! Beyond our wildest dreams.
• John Lewis Oxford Street ask us to design a window display.
• Our collab with Portmeirion launches at the Mondrian London Hotel (Sara’s wedding venue).

2018:

• Busy designing new product as we launch kitchen textiles, tins and a bath & body range.
• We WIN ‘Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand’ at the B&LLAs (against the likes of Becks!)
• Sara Miller London is featured in the one and only V&A as part of the Portmeirion exhibition.

2019:

• Super excited to launch NEW jewellery, watches and luggage.
• We design and install pop-up shops in John Lewis, Oxford St & Peter Jones stores.
• The brand is now available in over 60 countries!
• The design team take an inspiration trip to India.

2020:

• We design pop-up shops across Japan and Singapore in stores including Isetan, Takashimaya, Sogo, Seibu and Hankyu.
• Excited to launch brand new bedding, cushions and shortbread
• We win ‘Best Licensed & Talent Brand’ for the second time!

2021:

• Launch extensive collection of Wallpaper & Upholstery and ready made blinds cementing the Sara Miller London’s place in the world of interiors.
• Design feature store window at the ODAKYU department store in Shinjuku, Tokyo

• Partner with Sea Containers London and their ‘Nominate Your NHS Hero’ covid initiative, donating goodies for their wonderful NHS Care Bundles.

2022:

• The long-awaited handbag collection launches
• Debut book, Party Parade, published on World Book Day
• Gok turns out to be a huge fan featuring our product regularly on ‘This Morning’
• Exclusive collection of bed linen launches in M&S
• We win ‘Best Licensed & Talent Brand’ for the third time!

2023:

• Launch of three brand new print collections - Haveli Garden, Artisanne Noir and Midnight Leopard
• John Lewis and M&S commission exclusive Christmas bed linen and cushion collections
• Our flamingo plate features in the Golden Globe winning Barbie Movie
• The Times Newspaper feature on Sara
• We win ‘Best Licensed & Talent Brand’ for the fourth time!

2024:

• Savannah Print Collection launch spanning stationery, gifts, travel, accessories and home.
• Tote-shopper bag collaborations with Waitrose for Spring, Summer and Christmas 
• Huge roll out of our gifting a stationery to US bookstore Barnes & Noble
• Winner of Festive & Occasions Gift of the Year 2024 with our tin refillable Easter Eggs with Elite Tins
• And then we win ‘Best Licensed & Talent Brand’ for the fifth time!

2025:

• John Lewis Christmas Decoration Collaboration with beautiful baubles, ornaments and stockings.
• Whittard collab featuring luxurious tea, hot chocolate and biscuits launches for Christmas
• Exclusive gift and bath & body collection launches in Boots

What an incredible whirlwind of a journey it has been. Never did I think in my wildest dreams Sara Miller London would become the brand it is today... From the lovely messages we get from customers (all over the world) telling us about the joy our products bring them, to working with like-minded brands and winning awards major awards - every moment reminds me why I started this wild adventure in the first place!
